Château Cheval Blanc 1964
Saint-Emilion - First Grand Cru Rated
- 96/100 Parker
- Aging potential: Drink now through 2025
- Tasted by Robert Parker: "A blockbuster from Cheval Blanc and probably the greatest Cheval Blanc made in the 1960s and 1970s, this wine possesses a dense, dark garnet color. The nose offers aromas of coffee, black fruits, and spice box. The wine is opulent and fleshy, with enormous power. It is still very muscular, with also present tannins. This wine seems almost immortal in terms of longevity. RP.2003.".
