- Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown on August 31, 2018 : "Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cheval Blanc is still incredibly primary at this very young stage. As it coaxes, it unfolds to reveal seductive notions of ripe black cherries, blackberries, licorice, baking spices and smoked meats with hints of incense and potpourri plus smells of cast iron skillet and crushed rocks. Very rich, very firm/taut and with very ripe, fine-grained tannins, it shows its incredible depth of flavor with a very long, multi-layered finish. Wow."
