Côte-Rôtie Le Combard 2016 en Magnum - Domaine Barge
94-96/100 Parker
An excellent vintage for this wine. 94-96/100 Parker. It can be drunk today after decanting and letting it rest for at least an hour. It can also be cellared for 10 years. It is one of the stars of the vintage for the appellation. Tasting notes: notes of violets and herbal tea on the nose. Fruits in the mouth: black cherries with a nice fruity side on the finish.

Tasting
Delicate fragrant nose still waiting to age. This wine is all finesse. Round tannins, a fine grain, a length not at its maximum. This vintage will remain one of the most successful on the sector.
To drink now with an opening 2 hours before, put the cork back on. In the mouth, very dense, harmonious with fruit flavours, tannins completely melted, delicate and persistent.
Very balanced.
