Saint Joseph Blanc 2025 Silice - Coursodon
Pierre and Jérome Coursodon: Wine from the estate
The Saint-Joseph Blanc “Silice” from Domaine Coursodon is a white wine from the Northern Rhône, made primarily from Marsanne grapes grown on silica-rich granitic soils. This terroir results in a wine with a pronounced minerality, boasting a straightforward and precise style, far removed from heavy or heavily oaked whites.
On the nose, it develops aromas of white fruits (pear, apple), citrus, and white flowers, with a stony touch characteristic of the terroir. On the palate, there is a subtle balance between a slightly ample texture and a taut freshness, culminating in an elegant, saline finish.
This is a gastronomic wine, both refined and structured, that pairs beautifully with fish, shellfish, or poultry in light sauces. It is distinguished by its pure and refined character, typical of the finest white Saint-Joseph wines.
