Aging potential: 2027–2035

The palate, medium to full-bodied, is round and fleshy, structured by a fine, slightly phenolic texture and a taut acidity that brings balance and precision. The long, saline finish is distinguished by an almost ethereal quality. Less exuberant in its youth, this rosé nevertheless promises remarkable evolution in the bottle, gaining in complexity and harmony over the years. Another success for the Rougier family, who have crafted one of the most captivating and age-worthy rosés in France." Yohan Castaing

Do you know the Chateau Simone estate ?

Château Simone is a winery located in the Palette region of Provence, in the south of France. It is renowned for producing one of the region's most emblematic wines.

  • The Château Simone vineyard has existed for over two centuries, and has been run by the Rougier family since 1830. The estate covers some 20 hectares, with vines planted on clay-limestone and schist soils. The grape varieties grown are mainly Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, and a few other local varieties.
  • Château Simone is known for its traditional approach to viticulture. The vines are grown using organic methods, and the grapes are harvested by hand. The estate is also renowned for its low yields, which enable the production of concentrated, high-quality wines.
