Crozes-Hermitage 2018 Roche Pierre - Domaine Belle
(94 - 96)/100 Parker
Maturity: 2022 - 2035
By Joe Czerwinski in 2020: "Easily equal to some Hermitage, Belle's Crozes Hermitage Roche Pierre 2018 is made from the oldest Syrah vines on the estate, planted on granite soils. It is aged in 40% new oak barrels, but it has the intensity of the fruit and the richness of body to match. Crushed stone, pencil shavings and notes of mocha highlight the blueberries, liquorice and black olives in this impeccably balanced and complex offering".
