• When to drink this wine: 2025 - 2035+.
• Tasting notes : " This is a giant Châteauneuf that miraculously manages to remain vibrant and playful despite its enormous concentration and tannic structure. It's just beginning to open up, but already it has stunning aromas of savory, camphor, pine cone and wild blackberry. The finish lasts for many minutes. Made from century-old Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%) vines grown in sandy soil. Aged 18 months in barrels, then a further year in tuns. Made from organically grown grapes. "

•  Blend: The Grenache grapes come from the oldest plot of Domaine de la Solitude, planted by my great-great-grandfather at the beginning of the last century. It is located on the western slopes of the Crau, on a terroir of safres. The Syrahs flourish on the cool safre terroir of Les Blachieres. 
• - 70% century-old Grenache noir & 30% Syrah 
• These two great terroirs are always vinified separately in the best years.  
• Vinification & Maturing : The grapes are harvested by hand in 25 kg crates. After a double selection of the best bunches in the vineyard and on the sorting table, the Grenache grapes are vinified as whole grapes, while the Syrahs are destemmed. 
• Vinification takes place in truncated concrete vats. It is carefully matured for 20 months, 80% in barrels. The wine is blended and then matured
