The "Garrigues" cuvée owes its name to its distinctive aromatic expression, precisely revealing the emblematic scents of the garrigue: thyme, rosemary, savory, and black pepper, both on the nose and palate.
On tasting, the wine impresses with its generous and approachable profile, offering beautiful notes of spice, red fruit, and violet. The palate is supple and luscious, with excellent drinkability even in its youth. The tannins, smooth and elegant, provide structure and balance to the whole.
Made from a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, this wine comes from vines aged 10 to 35 years, cultivated on 5 hectares of soils that combine garrigue, blue clay marl, sand, and yellow sandstone, under a Mediterranean climate. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the traditional vinification takes place in cement vats, with total destemming, light crushing, and the use of indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in tanks over a winter, without the use of oak, before bottling, which is carried out according to the lunar calendar, without the addition of sulfites. Produced at a rate of approximately 20,000 bottles per year, this vintage can be enjoyed now and will age for 4 to 8 years.
