Chablis 1er cru Côte de Jouan 2018 - Domaine Pattes Loup - Thomas Pico
Displaying fragrances of crisp orchard yellow fruit, ripe lemons and marzipan that are discreetly framed by a touch of oak influence, it is bright and structured, with a chalky, phenolic finish.
The Côte de Jouan presents a beautiful volume, superb density, with a length worthy of a premier cru. A very beautiful wine that every Chablis lover should taste at least once in a lifetime.
The winemaker: Thomas Pico quickly acquired a well-deserved reputation as one of the brightest rising stars in the Chablis firmament. Pattes Loup is a kind of exception in Courgis. Its plots are distinguished by their soft, ploughed soil, in a region where the vines often resemble a barren moonscape.
Drink from 2023 to 2035.
