Sylvain Pataille's Marsannay La Montagne 2022 is a red wine from a confidential terroir in the north of the Côte de Nuits, on the edge of Dijon.On this east-facing, high-altitude plot, Pinot Noir flourishes on marl-limestone soil, giving rise to a wine of great finesse.The sunny yet balanced 2022 vintage offers a vibrant expression of the “La Montagne” climate, with fine mineral tension and the freshness characteristic of the Pataille style.Pure aromas of red berries (redcurrant, raspberry), floral notes (violet) and a hint of sweet spices on the finish.
