This cuvée is a blend of different terroirs of Côte-Rôtie, with a majority of plots coming from the North of the appellation.
- SOIL NATURE: Micaschist and Loess
- VINEYARDS : 95 % Syrah , 5 % Viognier
- SITUATION : Vines on hillsides with a South/South-East exposure
- AVERAGE YIELD: 38 HL/HA
- AGE OF VINES: 1/4 more than 50 years, 1/2 more than 10 years, 1/4 less than 10 years
- VINIFICATION: 100% destemming, followed by a 3-week maceration in stainless steel tanks.
- AGEING: 40% in new barrels, 30% in barrels of 1 wine and 30% in barrels and demi-muids of 2 wines, Malolactic done in barrels.
