Fixin Vieilles Vignes – Dominique Laurent is a red wine from the Côte de Nuits that expresses all the typical characteristics of this distinctive terroir. Made from carefully selected old vines, it reveals a bouquet marked by black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), cherry and elegant spicy and woody notes, brought out by Dominique Laurent's precise aging process. On the palate, it is distinguished by its generous body, beautiful intensity and firm but racy tannins, which give it real aging potential.
This authentic, structured wine is best enjoyed after aeration, but will evolve beautifully over 8 to 12 years. It pairs perfectly with flavorful, characterful dishes such as game, grilled or sauced red meats, and mature cheeses.
