"Tasted blind against its peers. While last year's 2008 de Fargues immediately revealed itself, this wine, a few months later, demands much more attention. It finally unveils aromas of dried pineapple, limestone, and a hint of baked apple, with some volatile acidity that lends it a certain vivacity. The palate is medium-bodied, with a creamy texture. Very well-balanced, it offers palpable tension from start to finish, with pleasant notes of dried honey and quince intertwining with a long, structured finish.
