"A wine with a particularly fragrant nose, revealing notes of dried flowers, chocolate, and black fruits enhanced by a touch of dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied and generous, carried by layers of ripe fruit and a rich, flavorful finish. Silky and opulent, it nevertheless retains beautiful precision and assertive structure. A wine that will gain further harmony with age: best enjoyed from 2024 onwards.

Grape variety:

Château la Dominique is mainly composed of the Merlot grape variety, which generally represents more than 80% of the blend. The rest is often Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot gives the wine its roundness and richness of fruit, while the Cabernet grape varieties provide structure and more complex aromas.
