A deep garnet red, this Premier Cru opens with a delicate bouquet of black cherries, plums, and blackcurrants, accompanied by nuances of undergrowth and subtle spices. On the palate, it is quite full-bodied with a velvety texture, melted tannins, lively acidity, and lovely freshness, offering a refined balance and an elegant finish.
Ageing and Pairings
Ageing Potential: Enjoy now, with 10 to 20 years to reach its peak, depending on storage conditions.
Food Pairings: Excellent with delicate dishes such as duck, Bresse poultry, capon, or certain meats in sauce, as well as washed-rind or thin-rind cheeses such as Brie de Meaux or Vacherin.

GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION
Chambolle Musigny is a village of great renown despite its small size. It owes its reputation to the quality of its wines and the fame of its first growths.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then carefully sorted by hand and destemmed. The maceration of the grapes takes place in open wooden or stainless steel vats or stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks. The vats are pumped twice a day during the fermentation. The maturation lasts about 18 months in barrels of our cooperage, of which about a third are new. are new.
