Domaine Marcel Deiss - Alsace Grand Cru - White
97/100 James Suckling
When to drink this wine : 2030 to 2060 according to Wine Advocate.
Tasting in 2020 - "I love the directness and purity of this exception to the Alsatian rules! The best vintages of this wine have always had a touch of noble sweetness and this one is no exception. The apricot aroma - fresh and dry - is stunning, with exotic notes. Then comes the super-concentrated palate that remains so upright and focused, the interplay between fruit and minerality very seductive. The finish is astonishingly complex. A blend of varieties co-fermented in the field. To drink or to keep."
