Tasting notes :
Château de Chantegrive red wines are made from traditional Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. They have a deep red colour and aromas of ripe red fruit, blackcurrant, black cherry and spices. On the palate, these wines are generous and well-balanced, with well-integrated tannins and good structure. They can also develop notes of tobacco, leather and liquorice with age.
Wine and food pairing :
They go well with meat dishes, such as grilled or roast beef, duck breast or lamb dishes. They can also be accompanied by hard cheeses such as Comté or Cheddar.
