• The most prized Grand Cru of Chablis, sublimated by the know-how of Domaine Laroche, expresses an intense minerality and an exceptional finesse. A great moment of tasting.
• Terroir : The vineyard takes its name from the fact that it was formerly enclosed, i.e. surrounded by walls. We know from historical sources that the monks of the Abbey of Saint Martin de Tours planted vines there in the 9th century. The Clos are located just opposite the village of Chablis, with a southern exposure. This generous sunny orientation allows an excellent ripening of the grapes. The soil is also well drained and the grapes are concentrated in acidity and aroma. Les Clos is the most intensely mineral Grand Cru of Domaine Laroche and the one with the longest ageing potential. The influence of this unique terroir gives a very long expression with vibrant intensity.
