Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2018 in Magnum - Bouchard Père et Fils
(92 - 94)/100
Reviewed by William Kelley 9th Jan 2020
"The 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières unwinds in the glass with a crisp bouquet of citrus oil, crushed chalk and nutmeg, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive palate that's tight-knit, tensile and mineral. Even in this generally forward white Burgundy vintage, this will need and reward bottle age."
TASTING NOTE: A complex bouquet with floral notes and delicate woody touches. Full-bodied and subtle at the same time, it reveals a lot of personality on the palate. Its very pronounced springiness gives it great freshness, a guarantee of good ageing potential.
