This Premier Cru is located next to another Volnay Premier Cru, En l'Ormeau, and almost opposite the Volnay Clos de la Barre. It faces northeast/southwest.
VINEYARD INFORMATION
This wine always stands out for its beautiful color. It is often very concentrated while offering a fresh and elegant finish.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
The grapes are small, dark red berries. The bunches are destemmed and then macerated in open vats for four weeks, allowing this subtle terroir to fully express itself. After devatting, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months.
