"The 2016 la Marzelle is a blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc aged in 100% one-year-old oak and amphorae for 16 months. Deep garnet-purple colored, it features cassis, crushed blackberries and black cherries with hints of cedar, cassis and pencil lead. The medium to full-bodied palate is firm and grainy with a good mid-palate core of black fruit, finishing savory. 5,000 cases produced."
