TERROIR AND DATA SHEETS
Fine sands, saffron, red clays, each lieu-dit brings its unique stone to the building. "Le Pradel" and "La Font du Pape" in the lead. On the latter, the translation from Provençal suggests a humid place conducive to Syrah, or rather Serines, which express their freshness and crispness. Through the historical and major grape varieties of our region, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Counoise, this union of terroirs finds its raison d'être in the coherent and elegant wines it creates. Origin : A blend of complementary plots of land located at Les Saintes Vierges, La Font du Pape and Le Pradel.
- Grape varieties : 64% Grenache vieilles vignes, 25% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 1% Counoise.
- Vinification : Manual harvest with severe sorting, destemming, short and gentle maceration with light punching down.
- Maturation : 18 months in recent tuns.
- Soil : Les Saintes Vierges and Le Pradel (sandy soils on Miocene molasses), La Font du Pape (ancient alluvium and reworked molasse sands).
