Tasted by Parker in 2015: "A beauty from Carbonnieux, the 2005 has a dense ruby/purple colour and a sweet nose of charcoal embers, smoke, graphite, black cherries, and black currant fruit. It is medium to full-bodied, pure, and lush as well as beautifully textured and long. This wine is reaching its plateau of maturity and should remain there for at least two more decades."
