Every year since 1907, Bouchard Père & Fils has offered its exclusive Beaune du Château cuvée. The result of blending parcels classified as Premier Cru and vinified separately, it brings together in a single wine the different facets of the Beaune terroir. Beaune du Château rouge is made from 17 Beaune Premier Cru parcels, selected for their complementary qualities: Les Aigrots, Les Avaux, Le Bas des Teurons, Belissand, Les Bressandes, Les Cent Vignes, Les Champs Pimont, Clos du Roi, A l'Ecu, En Genêt, Les Grèves, Pertuisots, Les Reversés, Les Seurey, Les Teurons, Les Toussaints and Les Tuvilains.

TASTING NOTE: Beautiful dark garnet color with brown to mauve highlights. Complex bouquet combining aromas of jammy red fruit, fig, peony and a hint of chocolate. Harmonious, deep mouthfeel, with good maturity and dense but fine tannins. A seductive wine.

- AGEING POTENTIAL: 5 to 7 years or more
- HARVESTING: By hand, in small 13 kg crates. Each bunch is carefully sorted by hand.
- VINIFICATION: After total or partial destemming, depending on the vintage, fermentation in small containers and gentle pressing ensure optimal vinification. Depending on the vintage, vatting can last from 15 to 18 days.
- AGEING: 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, with 25 to 35% new barrels.
- AGEING: The Bastions cellars of the old Château de Beaune offer natural environmental conditions perfectly suited to the ageing of Premier Crus.
