The "Les Chasseignes" single-plot cuvée is a vibrant, sun-drenched interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc, hailing from a unique terroir known as *caillottes*—highly stony, free-draining limestone soils. This distinctive terroir absorbs the day’s heat and radiates it back to the grape clusters, ensuring optimal ripeness while preserving a remarkable sense of tension. The wine captivates with a brilliant, light-gold hue and a highly expressive, complex nose, where notes of white-fleshed fruits (vine peach, pear), orange zest, and linden blossom mingle with a characteristic chalky, mineral imprint. On the palate, the balance is masterful: the attack is ample and velvety, quickly giving way to a mineral backbone and a savory freshness that carries the tasting experience into a persistent, subtly saline finish.
