- Tasted by Joe Czerwinski in 2022: "Again a forward sample blended from multiple barrels, the 2020 Cote Rotie Les Journaries (labeled Maestria outside the U.S.) is a blend of fruit from La Landonne and Côte Brune. It is rich and tannic, even chewy, with plenty of concentration, but it is also fresh and fruity, with vibrant notes of purple raspberries and exotic spices. It should be great, it just needs 5+ years.

TASTING
- Dense ruby colour with black tints. A nose with aromas of violets, black fruits and minerals. Concentrated, dense, blackcurrant notes, morello cherry notes, toasted coffee notes, firm tannins, mineral, good intensity, good persistence.
- TEMPERATURE FOR SERVING: Between 16° and 18°.
- AGING POTENTIAL: To be consumed between 2027 and 2036.
