- Le Clos Florentin has been under the ownership of the exceptional Jean-Louis Chave estate since 2009. Nestling just outside the village of Mauves, this estate is the only walled vineyard in Saint-Joseph, with decomposed granite soil.
- This cuvée is made from very old Syrah vines and aged in oak barrels. The wine reveals aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrants and blackberries, floral notes of violets and a touch of liquorice. On the palate, it is characterised by its silky texture, remarkable intensity and incomparable purity.
- You can enjoy it now or cellar it for 10 to 12 years.
- Service: We recommend decanting while still young and serving at a temperature of 16°C.
- Pairings: Serve with veal heart, chicken curry or grilled duck breast.
