Great Burgundy wine

Drinking window: 2026–2058
"Tasted again from bottle, the 2018 Corton Grèves Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) reveals itself in the glass with aromas—still reserved, a sign of its youth—of plum and black cherry, complemented by subtle notes of spice and forest floor. Broad, rich, and muscular, it retains the abundant tannins I noted during barrel aging; however, they have softened over time. The wine thus displays a slightly less pronounced structure than I had anticipated, while remaining fleshy, powerful, and commanding."
The Domain tells you about it:

GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION
The "Corton" are grand crus from the commune of Aloxe Corton - North of the Côte de Beaune - and are located on the famous "Rognon de Corton". More than half of the surface of the Aloxe Corton vineyard is planted with Grand Cru, which is exceptional in Burgundy. The exposure varies between South and South West.
