The Louis Jadot Meursault Prieur-Brunet Village is an iconic cuvée from the Côte de Beaune, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the renowned terroirs of the Meursault appellation. Maison Jadot perpetuates an elegant and precise vision of traditional Meursault, with a wine that combines richness, freshness, and mineral finesse. The Prieur-Brunet estate, part of Louis Jadot for several decades, brings a heritage of old vines and historical expertise to this consistently excellent village wine.
In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant pale gold color with subtle silver highlights. The nose opens with generous aromas of ripe white fruit, fresh hazelnut, delicate butter, and white flowers, complemented by toasty and vanilla notes resulting from careful aging in oak barrels. The overall impression is harmonious and never overpowering, true to the refined style sought by Louis Jadot.
On the palate, this Meursault Village wine seduces with its breadth and silky texture. The attack is round and luscious, carried by flavors of pear, almond, and lightly buttered brioche.
