Cru d'Alsace - La Grande Colline
94/100 James Suckling
Tasted in 2023: ‘Complex nose of all citrus nuances with lots of bergamot, but also hints of dried tarragon and thyme. Rich, compact and racy on the medium to full-bodied palate, with excellent citrus energy and stony minerality on the very long finish. It tastes like Riesling, but is in fact a blend of local varieties. Made from organically grown grapes and certified by Ecocert. Drink it or keep it’.
