The Nuits-Saint-Georges "Les Allots" comes from a historic vineyard located in the northern part of the appellation, just below the Premier Cru vineyards. This unique terroir, characterized by red silt mixed with limestone scree, produces a wine of great distinction, distinguished by its elegance. From the first sniff, the wine reveals a charming and ethereal bouquet, where the freshness of cherry, violet, and blackcurrant intertwines, complemented by subtle hints of wood, licorice, and coffee imparted by meticulous aging for 15 to 18 months (approximately a quarter of which is in new oak barrels).

On the palate, "Les Allots" perfectly expresses the duality of this terroir: the crispness of ripe fruit combines with a supple and silky texture, typical of wines from the northern part of Nuits-Saint-Georges, while maintaining a beautiful energy and a solid structure in the background. The tannins, already fine and integrated in their youth, gain even more patina and smoothness over the years, evolving towards noble notes of undergrowth. This is a great gastronomic wine that will pair wonderfully with roasted duck breast, game birds, or a selection of mature cheeses.
