By Neal Martin on April 28, 2017: "The 2016 Chateau Laffitte Carcasset offers attractive cedar-infused black fruits on the nose, with hints of red plum following right behind, quite detailed with abundant fruit. The palate is delicious with crisp tannins. A masculine, harmonious and concentrated Saint Estèphe, the finish testifying that just the right amount of oak was used. Great work here!"
