From the estate
92/100 Parker
Cellaring : 2023 - 2035
Tasted by Joe Czerwinski in 2022: "In Durieu's 2019 tank-aged Chateauneuf du Pape, a garnet hue presages a more classic style. A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% other permitted grapes, it offers soft notes of leather and ripe cherry. Old school without being rustic, it is powerful, supple, almost creamy, then long and lush on the finish, showing excellent balance and harmony."

TASTING NOTES :
This cuvée is a selection of the best plots of old Grenache de Châteauneuf du Pape from Domaine Durieu. These wines present at the same time fullness, suppleness, tannic structure, complexity, power and length on the palate. A few years of cellaring will enable it to obtain more roundness and a more elegant, full-bodied taste. depth.
