Réserve de l’Oenothèque 2006 Magnum - Champagne Drappier
The "Réserve de l'Oenothèque" is the living memory of the Drappier family home. Preserved in the 12th century Cistercian cellars, this collection brings to light old vintages, sometimes very rare. When the winemakers feel that they are ready to reveal the intensity and originality of their birth year, they taste them in small batches, sometimes even individually.
Tasting Note: Richly spiced and creamy in texture, this finely crafted Champagne is underpinned by succulent acidity and highlighted by a subtle touch of smoky mineral, with opulent flavors of baked plum, coffee liqueur, kumquat and toasted brioche. Opens nicely on the plush finish.
