Meursault Porusot 1er cru 2022 - Louis jadot
Great Bourgogne estate
Terroir and Origin
The Meursault 1er Cru Porusot – Louis Jadot comes from a vineyard located in the heart of the Meursault appellation, in the Côte de Beaune. The deep, well-drained clay-limestone soils offer ideal conditions for Chardonnay. This terroir imparts freshness, finesse, and elegance to the wines, with a delicate minerality typical of Premier Cru Meursault.
Winemaking and Aging
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully pressed to preserve their full aromatic purity. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, followed by aging on fine lees for approximately 15 to 18 months. This winemaking process brings structure and complexity while respecting the pure expression of the terroir.
Style and Tasting Notes
The Meursault Porusot 1er Cru is captivating with an elegant nose of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, and white flowers, with toasty and slightly buttery nuances resulting from aging. On the palate, it presents a full and silky texture, supported by a lovely acidity and a delicate minerality, offering a long, harmonious finish. It pairs perfectly with fine fish, shellfish, or refined poultry.
