Chablis 2024 - Louis Jadot
Great Burgundy estate
Geographical Location
The Chablis vineyard is located in northern Burgundy, approximately halfway between Dijon and Paris.
Characteristics
The continental climate—marked by very cold winters, hot summers, and the risk of spring frosts—combined with marl soils, gives Chablis wines their distinctive character. The vineyard covers approximately 3,500 hectares, of which 856 hectares are classified as Premier and Grand Cru, planted exclusively with Chardonnay. Chablis Premier Cru wines come from 40 distinct vineyard sites.
Winemaking and Aging
Winemaking and aging take place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit and the freshness characteristic of the Chablis style.
Serving temperature : 12-14 C°.
