Crozes Hermitage Blanc 2024 Les Rousses - Yves Cuilleron
The Crozes-Hermitage Blanc Les Rousses from Domaine Yves Cuilleron is a beautiful expression of the great white wines of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation in the Northern Rhône Valley. Made exclusively from Marsanne grapes, this wine comes from vines planted on granite slopes and stony soils, which promote slow ripening and excellent aromatic concentration. On the nose, it reveals an elegant bouquet of white flowers, yellow-fleshed fruit, ripe citrus, and a subtle touch of honey, typical of this grape variety.
The palate is ample and harmonious, with a generous texture supported by a delicate freshness that balances the natural richness of the Marsanne. Notes of pear, peach, fresh almond, and light honey emerge, leading to an elegant and slightly mineral finish. Approachable in its youth for its vibrant fruit, Les Rousses can also gain complexity after a few years of aging, developing richer and spicier nuances.
