A monument of the northern Rhône. Produced from very old vines – some dating back to the 19th century – and with tiny yields, the 1991 Le Pavillon achieves perfection, according to Robert Parker. The color is inky black, the nose captivating: spices, roasted meats, and black and red fruits of rare intensity.
The palate impresses with its concentration, power, and exceptional balance. The tannins are silky, the body immense, and the finish endless. A legendary Hermitage, both massive and remarkably precise. Enjoy now or cellar for special occasions until 2035.
