Ploussard Côte de Feule 2023 - Cellier Saint Benoit- Arbois pupillin
Jura
Parker Rating: 95/100
Drinking Potential: 2025-2033
The superbly aromatic and floral 2023 Ploussard Côte de Feule, which I adored in oak barrels, is even better in the bottle. From the most prestigious lieu-dit in Pupillin, a south-facing slope (up to 40% in some areas) on iridescent Lias marl soils, it benefited from a very good harvest in 2023 (60 hectoliters per hectare). At 11.5% alcohol, this delicate and elegant wine is appealing, with a beautiful balance, a very flavorful palate, and an almost saline finish. 3,534 bottles were bottled in August 2024.

Wine vinified in red. This cuvée, from the very famous "Feule" lieudit in Pupillin, is composed of Ploussard with some Trousseau vines, which gives it, thanks to its southern exposure, a more pronounced, tannic and full-bodied character.
