LA PÈIRA EN DAMAISÈLALocated in the Languedoc-Roussillon the Domaine La Pèira in Damaisèla began its adventure only in 2004. We find this superb property in the heart of the wild landscapes of the Terrasses du Larzac. It has greatly contributed to completely change the landscape, the nature and the horizon of the appellation. Their secret? The estate's winemakers have "quite simply" (so to speak) set the bar very high, whether it be in terms of production quality, a requirement without name, sometimes pointed out as a requirement above that of the grands crus classés de Bordeaux and the burgundian grands crus. ► Presentation of the domain on the blog ◄ |

Led by Jean-Dominique and his cousin Jean-Laurent, the family estate of Loire produces a range of different unique Sancerres de vignoble in white, red and rosé that reflects not only the rich variety of the region's terroirs, but also the concept of cousins that seem to demonstrate that the Sancerrois is no less fascinating than the Côte d'Or. Indeed, the rich and powerful whites (38 of the 50 hectares planted with Sauvignon Blanc) are among the best Sancerres you can find, especially when you have the patience to give the vintages the time they need to develop |
